Valentine any color

here I did a 1-1 swap that was to use any color for valentine. wasn't suppose to use pink,red or black. here was a chance to use colors that one would not even think of. :) I used the big and small scallop punch from stampin up and I punched out 2 hearts and crumpled them in my hand to get the wrinkle look. on the big scallop i also stamp a background using hearts.I also used the large oval after i stamped the verse and then punched it out.love doing this swap very much as i got to use colors that was way different.

ok lets try this again. lol. this is another resist done with the white crayon and stamps by stampin up. I also used eyelets and ribbon. the 2 different cards done with white crayon for the resist is my first try. not bad for me.

Dazzling Winter

this stamp is from stampendous and the emboosing folder from stampin up. I ualso used staz-on ink for the image. I then used mono glue which i bought from stampin up also and put some on the snowflakes in certain spots and also down at the snowmen. for me simple.

here i did a resist with clear embbossing powder. I used the ice cream stamps by stampin up. the ink by stampin up and tim holtz. I was doing some experimenting when a friend showed me the video of how it is done witha white crayon. i have that card to show also. I will put it up for you tomorrow. this card i am going to send to mom.

then in the search there type in turkey and you can see a video of it. this is where I got the idea from. and so neat to use scraps for the tail. the stamped background is from design company. it is a set of 4 for thanksgiving.I used 3 different colors of brown inks which are from stampin up.white gel pen is from stampin up also and I used it for the eyes.round corner punch is from fiskars.

this is the house we lived in when i was little and growing up. it is no longer there as it is now a parking lot. but what a great old house it was. my younger brother jeff was born in this house. all letters and flowers and swirls are cut from the cricut. pattern paper is from my pile that i used. I also used the deckle scissors. now how many have you used of your scissors like that??

here is the October calendar that I made for a swap. I have 11 more to make. frankenstein is made from the small top note die from quickutz, 1/4,1/2. 3/4 inch circles for the eyes. the spider is made from leftovers of frankensteins hair. I used 3 for the legs and the 3/4 in ch circle punch. all punches from stampin up. I used pumpkin pie ink from stampin up also.

here is 2 of the 6 tags I made for a swap I am in for christmas tags. it has been a yearly thing and oh so great to see the other tags also. :) the oval i cut by hand with a template I have. the ears are done on the cricut called home accents cartridge. I also used the word window punch by stampin up as the circle punches for nose and eys. which they are 3/4 and 1/2 inch punch. the ears i cut at 3 inches on the cricut. this is all there is too it.

here is just 3 of the 8 cards that i did for a swap in SAT. the leaves are from sizzix dies that I put thru the embossing folder to get the swirled effect. I ran all this thru my new sizzix die machine. love it and works perfectly. :) the ribbon i used has leaves and acorns on it.the paper i cut in 2 different lengths. glue dots from stampin up was used for the ribbon.

Butterfly Family

here I did this layout of all my nieces and nephews from my younger brother Jeff and my younger sister Kymm. this is the first time they was all together and i just had to get a picture of them so i make this layout. oh, how i love them. they give me joy. :) I used the cricut to cut out family,leaves, flowers,butterflies. the lace pattern behind is what the paper brought to it as it was already on there. makes it nice doesn't it. I put yellow glitter glue in the center of the flowers and on the 2 of the butterflies.

here is my husband painting his parents bedroom when it was first getting built. the swirls on here are cut from the cricut. the house also. I took a white gel pen from stampin up and went around the the black to give it some omph. this house can also be used as a huanted house with ghosts coming out of it also if you like. :)

my husband bought me a new die cutting machine for my birthday. he and my stampin up demo dixie was in cahoots together in getting the machine for me. don't you just love them?? I surely do!!! I have the handle put on already and i will be trying it out tonight. oh yeah, I just have to see how this thing works. :) thanks you guys for the very nice surprise.

here I made a cupcake card for the dessert I am in on justcards. the cupcake stamps are from stampin up as is the saying. inks used are from stampin up also in choc. chip and pretty in pink. the pattern I got in a swap. the ribbon i a scrap I had here in a little basket I keep just for ribbon that can be used again no matter how small it is. the icing on the cupcakes are done twice and cut once and then I popped them up with foam tape.

I got tag happy as i did more tags the last few days. these are kits that was sent to me in a swap from stampintaggin when the group was on yahoo awhile before it shut down. I never knew how much fun it was to make tags until now as I always thought it was boring but making these one doesn't have to put alot onto the tags at all. on the tag that has 2 tags on a small and a big one. in the one corner is a cardboard corner that has scrapbook paper on it. I sanded the edges down also.these can be used on scrapbook pages in the future.

Wooden Frame

this is a wooden frame that I bought a while back. I did this for a secret sister here where I live. I used sienna brown paint to paint the frame and the used torn scrap of paper plain and pattern and decoupaged them on. after it dried I put another coat of the decoupage on it to seal it. after it dried I lightly put another coat of the paint over it. Now I will be getting this wrapped and ready for my secret sister.

I am back from a week early because i got sick. I don't know what happened but I could not breathe and still have trouble. I even been to drs. I have to go back to drs in june so if I still have this then I will let him know. I did get a layout done while at moms but i wish I could have gotten more done while there. being sick just sucks especially when you cannot breathe. I am also fighting to stay awake with the meds I was given als0. not like the others stuff I take sends me to lala land also, but I can at least stay awake , except with the these new ones for my lungs. wow. I will be gald when it is all over.

I finally bought this. I have been looking at this template for so long on stitches. it will be great for my cards and scrapbooking. plus with my eyesight going this will make it easier for me also. I found this in paperwishes catalog which is free by the way, but i bought this at pat catans. I was there to buy some glue and zots for my trip to my moms. so when i seen this i finally had to have this since i been wanting this one for ages. let you know when i get back from mom how this works. since i will be using it there.

Bunny Punch Art

here i did a bunny made withn all punches from stampin up. the punches use are:

1 3/4 " circle

1/2 " circle

large and small oval

standar hole punch or the cropadile can be used here also.

now you can use pattern paper for the small oval for the pads of the bunny feet and ears. I used inks from stampin up to edge the body, feet and ears.

Punch Art Bunnies for Easter

here is my version of the punch art bunnies. I use pattern paper from stampin up which is retired on the blue bunny and the paisley on the pink bunny but it was a scrap that I had around here and i do not know the name of it though. the puches used all by stampin up:

1 3/4 circle-body

1/2 circle cheeks

lg and sm oval-ears and feet

standard hole punch for eyes

I used inks in not quite navy and pixie pink from stampin up. the happy easter i did on the computer and used the small and large oval punch for that as well.

Owl Tulips

here is a card i made from the owl punch by stampin up. I do not have this punch but I was at my demos house and she was nice to punch some for me until I buy one of my own. I use passion pink ink from stampin up to edge the tulips. for the green stem I used the large ovel punch also by stampin up. just punch and put your punch inagain but make sure you have a bit of the corners so you can get that curve. large oval makes great flowers stems if you don't have the 2 step bird punch with the branch. the paper is by michaels and my mother in law bought this for me as she bought me 3 pads of paper. ribbon I forget where i bought this. enjoy!!

Here is the clear notebook I made in class today at Dixie's house. she is my stampin up demo. this is made from the clear cases that the new cling stamps are in. but you can buy these separate also. there is even a calendar inside and the notepad of paper to fit. so neat. you can easy put this into your purse or bag and the paper would not get ruined at all. how cool. everything here is from stampin up.

Husband's Valentine card

here is hubbys valentine card that I made for him while at my Mother in Laws house today. Since hubby is sick and she wanted me over there to help finished making 40 cards for 2 classrooms. we almost have them done. here the paper used is by K&Comapany. ribbon is unknown as my MIL had the ribbon. I used the scallop punch by stampin up. for me this says it all for my husband. I think he will like it. also I will be giving him one of those mailboxes that I will be altering with the card inside and some candy also. I will sho you the altered mailbox as soon as I get it done.

here is a layout I did of our nieces and nephew. the pic you see here was a christmas card but i cut it so just the pics are on here. pattern paper is Heid Grace designs. the daisies used on here are bought in a bunch at dollar genral and then I just just took the flowewrs off the stem and there you go, oodles of flowers to use on a page. I used buttons in the middle of the flowers. for me a simple page.

here are a couple of layouts I did for my mom. these are the pictures my twin sister gave to mom. mom gave them to me to scrap for and I am getting ready to mail these back to mom. the called snowy is my twins cat. like all cats they are sleeping on their favorite thing, the couch. the title in snowy is done by the cricut. in the other one called acting silly is my twins fiance pete.the title on it is from the cricut also. I used circle punches on both and white and black gel pen. the pattern paper is from DCWV.

this card is all done with the cricut die cutting machine except for the background whick is itty bitty backgrounds by stampin up. I used real red ink to stamp it with. black and white gel pen was used. I used a pop dot on the back of the butterfly.

here is my first card for valentines day. now here I used glitter and diamond glaze. put on the diamond glaze first and then sprinkle on the glitter or have it ready to use in catch all. this way you can just dip it in. I used a heart stamp that is unknown and i bought this stamp at rite-aide of all places a while ago. I use 4 brads that I bought from the new scrapbook store called Scrapbook Studio and Cafe. it is in niles. I did post it on my blog about this store and where it is located Niles,Ohio. I forget where the love and kisses is from, let me go check really quick for you all, its from All Night Media. I used real red ink for the stamping.

Shopping at New Scrapbook Store

I went shopping today at the new store and I love it. here is what I got. this is my very first distress inks. in walnut stain. I also bought a box of zots in small. I needed another one of those. wow, all the paper she has. my goodness. next time I will buy me a couple of paper packs that I liked after she showed me. she also has what is called a brad bar where you bag your own brads. 1.99 a bag so i filled 3 bags. :) of course I had to get a new stamp, :), couldn't go away without one you know. its called bird and flower burst. she also has a coffee bar and where you can take classes also. I will be going back.

Great Niece and Great Nephew

I finally got an updated pic of my new niece and nephew. I used winter lace cricut cart. on it. to me some of the snowflakes look likes doilies. :) I then took 1 3/4 and 1 3/8 punch from stampin up and did the circles. But I used cardstock that had 2 different colors of the blue on it. this way i had more to use. I use a white gel pen for the journaling. the snowflakes on here are called Jacks.

here is my first heart card for the year. the stamp set is by stampin up and is called merci. the pattern paper is a scrap that I had. ribbon I either bought from michaels or dollar general. cannot remember which. I used ancient page coal ink to stamp with. woodless color pencils to color the image with.I also made dash marks around the heart image.this card is for a swap i am in.

I am Back

days earlier. we are to get a storm here where I live at over the weekend so i had to come back early. mom and I did get alot of cookies made also. the plastic bins stacked on the table was something. plus I got to see my new nephew and hold him and see also my twin sister who i haven't seen since my dad died 5 years ago. I took some pics of all my nieces and nephews while there and will scrap them. also took a pic of me and my twin also. lots of pics to scrap when i get them developed. :) I have more nieces to take pics of on christmas day yet on hubbys side. that will finish the roll of film. have to go check you later.

here is my card using punch art. oval punch by stampin up, antlers made by cricut home accents, eyes and nose made by the cropadile. white and black gel pen used. snowflake stamp by comotion and the pattern paper is a scrap. the scallop punch is by stampin up.verse by stampin up and itsLots of Thoughts. the oval for the verse is cut by the cricut, boxes, tags and more.

here are the cards I made at dixies house today.everything here on the cards are from stampin up. for me the hardest part was cutting the poinsetta petals to make the poinsetta. my eyes did not want to see it. it has been hard seeing. now when I seen the quilt card I knew i had to make one.

this card I stamped the background with tempting turquoise from stampin up. the stamp is by anitas. I then stamped on black cardstock with versamark and used silver fine detail embossing powder and heat with heat gun. I round all corners as you see with the fiskars corner rounder. I added a silver ribbon also which is wired also. I cut a thin strip of scrap paper for the right side.

this card was easy to make. I made this one as the other 2. the stamp is from anita's i believe. It was one long stamp which i cut into squares after it was stamped and colored. cardstock I used is black, red,silver,white. this card is for a swap i am in. I stamped merry christmas in versamark and then put clear embossing powder over it and heat with the heat gun. after I colored the images in I used tombow gluw to put over what I want glitter on. glitter I used is dazzling diamonds from stampin up. I also used 2 square brads.If you open the red part where the images are you can write something inside.

here everything is by stampin up. this is the first time i ever made this. turned out pretty for me. :) the stamp set is polka dot and paisley. inks used is tempting turquoise and certain celery by stampin up also. ribbon is a scrap i had ,plus i forget who it is by. to open the wallet slide off the pink part. when it opens up you can put 3 pictures inside and journal also right beside the pics. it folds up nicely so you can put the pink sleeve back on and you can also keep this in your purse to show off the grandkids or nieces and nephews, or the kids. this would make a great gift also as the person just has to do put pics and journal.

this card uses the polka dot and paisley stamp set. here I used tempting turquoise and certain celery ink by stampin up. I stamped the paisley 5 times and cut them out, then i fixed so they would make a flower. them punch a circle to cover the middle. on this card also if you lift up the green section of the card you can write something inside it.

on this card is another puffy sticker that is from big lots. I bought a set of puffy stickers for 2.00 that was christmas. they looked cool to me so i bought them. I shared them with my nieces on thanksgiving as we cards for their teachers. the verse is from stampin up.I also inked around the edges in garden green from stampin up. pattern paper is a scrap.

this card is made different.if you open the green part where the wreath you can write inside. the wreath is a puffy sticker that i bought at Big Lots. the mistletoe stamp is from anitas and the verse stamp is unknown. I also used 3 square brads and my paper piercer. this was a fun card to do. inks are by stampin up.

here a card that is made from the same image. the stamp is by anita's. pattern paper by DCWV, which I got on sale at hobby lobby. I also used fiskars corner rounder on the bottom of the card. all cardstock is by Hollo's in Brunswick,Ohio. I used 3 square brads at the bottom but in the center. I used my paper-piercer to the the holes for the brads. the I put some glue and glitter, which thwe glitter is from stampin up. I wanted it to look like snow.
