here is the organizer for my paper that my husband bought for me. :)  I am organizing my craft room and this will really help with all my paper

Death of my Mom

sorry if I have not been on here for a while but my mom died and it really made me sad that she is gone to our lord .  I really do miss talking to her on the phone.. I am still thinking of making cards for the nursing home she was in as it really made the people happy.


on  another note also randy had an accident which caused his left arm to be in a cast and his right leg to have surgery on or he would have lost  the leg. they removed pockets of blood from his right knee.  his brother took a pic of it before surgery and lets say if you have a weak stomache then you would not want to see it. that bad. after he got out of the hospital he  went to rehab and he was home for just today and he was walking with a cane but at certain times he still needed his walker. he is doing very well.  the more he walks the more he will get better..

so I have started a layout of my aunt  who died also. almost finished with it. a couple to make now for  swaps since i can get back into thinking again.

I will start posting again here soon the cards and layouts I do. it has just been rough.

oh  yes, I have now been told I am legally blind and my hearing got worse also.

Happy Easter

here is one of many easter cards I am making for the nursing home and the ladies I visit teach and for a swap also.  I have enough for 60 cards for the nursing home so I am hoping to get them all made but will make all i can so i can send them in time.   all stamps from stampin up and puches used are also from stampin up.

St. Patrick's Day Cards

 this are but 2 of the 28-30 I am  making for the nursing home my mom resides in.  they really enjoy receiving  they do not get cards alot of them so I am making sure I can do my part.  the stamps are from stampin up, the  half back pearls are from amazon which my husband  bought for me since I needed alot.  the embossing folder is also from stampin up as with the ink used. I used red liner tape on the ribbon as the glue dots didn't work to well.  the red liner did. :)  love that red liner tape..  

Black and White Tag with 1 accent color

this I made for a swap I am in using black and white and 1 accent color. the hearts I traced by hand and cut out by hand also. then i put them thru the embossing folder. I used mini rhinestones in each heart. this is my best tag yet I made.

Spring Card

here I made my first spring card using  a stamp from TAC which is no longer.  the ribbon is from stamping up as is the  saying. papers is what i had here. corner rounder used is from Fiskars.

whats been happening

here is the scoop why i didn't post for december.  during that time I was in the middle of  organizing m,y craft room. going thru everything.   then i re-arranged 3 pieces of furniture. 2 bookcases and my table.   a friend help me to moved those and he even  fixed it so no cords are in the middle of the floor so i do not trip, since I am going blind. just getting used to where everything is at the moment.  :)  I am sure you all know what that is like. then I had to get ready for inspection. so that made me not post anything for january either, so I was super busy doing all this. that is what I was doing.

Valentine Cards

I was asked to make a few valentine cards for a friends daughter. here they are.  all paper was used, ribbon, rhinestones. the only stamp I used was for the inside which says happy valentine's day, that is by stampin up which is from itty bitty words.

this is my card from razzy in justcards. she made it to stand like a picture frame which is so neat and different. the leaves on here are foam.

UPDATE ON MY HEALTH

I have gone to the eye dr and the ob/gyn also.

eyes- the dr said that I am losing myt sight in my left eye now.  he still wants to run some tests also.

mass on left ovary- it never went away. so the dr will do another ultrasound in april to see how it is coming. it still hurts once in a while.

trying to get my husband thru all this as he didn't think it would happen. we both had blessings. now i am going to show how to stick for my sugar with my meter and how to layout my meds also. lots of work to do. I still have to let my mom know which will be hard.

here is another turkey punch art for you. I found this on the net.all punches used are from stamping except for the 1 inch punch. it is unknown. the eyes are made from the cropadile large hole. I made 5 turkey cards using all 3 different turkeys to send to the nursing home where my mom is. to make someones day.

I found this card on pinerest. I thought it was easy and it is. I made this card for the nursing staff at the nursing home my mom resides in. I am also making 5 more turkey punch art cards for my mom to give out to who she pleases. 

PUNCHES USED:

lg oval,1 3/4 inch circle, 1 inch circle, heart,eyes from the cropadile (lg hole),labels dies , embossing folder

I also used bakers twins to separate the 2 different pattern paper I used.

Thanksgiving Turkey Punch Art Card

here I used the newest of the punch art I did. I made this for my mom. she will just love it so much.
