I tried a card I seen on another blog and the background just didn't come out right, BUT with a little more work I think I can get this one. the stamp I used is from stampin up.if you have ever done a card like how do you get the background even?? it sure is a mystery for me. LOL. :)
This is my Blog of my rubberstamping and scrapbooking that I do. I have decided to cut down to those 2 crafts because of my eyes as it is easier for me to do. I still love other crafts as well, but my eyes prevent me to do alot anymore. so onto rubberstamping and scrapbooking.

Monica,
For my card using this sketch, I cut the following:
5 1/4 x 8 1/2 card base
1st layer 4 x 5 1/4
2nd layer 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 (dp)
(you could make this layer 3 3/4 x 5 as well)
I then made one square of dp
2 1/2 x 2 1/2
I mounted that on a square
2 3/4 x 2 3/4
I then cut this in half diagonally and mounted these triangles on the 2nd layer flush with the corner.
Then I made my center piece with the sentiment on it. Hope this helps with your next try! If you go to my blog and look at it again, maybe it will make more sense. Keep trying, this is really a fun sketch.
