Mom and her Sisters

here i did a layout of all the sisters together at my dads funeral 4 years ago. this is my mom and her sisters. 2 of them came from west virginia and 1 lives in east canton as does my mom. I cut the cardstock in 3 equal widths. put them at an angle. the flowers I traced from a paperwishes template and cut out and folded. and then i put a clear button on each one. the letter i traced out and cut my hand also and then I used a white gel pen from stampin up and whent around the cardstock and the letters for pop.

Fall card Fold

I seen this card done on a blog that I go to all the time. here is the blog i go to so you can see her do the card yourself. http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com
when i seen this card i just had to try it out myself. so here is my version. all cardstock is from Hollo's, inks used so saffron(stampin up), orange(vivid),ancient page, markers for the flowers. ribbon is from Michaels I believe. corner rounder is from fiskars.
rounding the corners is the only difference i did on the card on mine as i thought it would be neat to do it that way.

Santa-First Christmas Card

Here is my first christmas card that I made for a swap that I am in. The stamp is from Rubber Stampede. I stamped santa in ancient page ink Henna. The pattern paper is unknown. the ribbon is from stampin up and is retired. I used ancient page coal ink around the edge of the image also. The cardstock is frm Hollo's.

The image is from Designs Inked, ribbon is from stampin up which is retired. the sentiment i made up myself on printed it out on microsoft word. The pattern paper was given to me from a friend and the cardstock is from Hollo's in Brunswick. I used ancient page ink to stamp with.corner rounder is from fiskars. This I smy take on a school morning. :)

Halloween Image Swap

Here is my card for the favorite image swap on swap-bot that karyn is holding. this stamp set is from stampin up and it is a new set for me and i had to just use it. I embossed everything on it with embossing powder. except the happy halloween. that I used ancient page ink in coal black. the embossing powders i used is from stampin up. except the black, as i forget who it is by. the glitter paper I got for my birthday while i was at my moms and it is from Best Occasions. I also used the die from sizzix which i bought from stampin up also. It is the top note die. I used 2 sizes of circles punches 1 is from stampin up and the other i bought from the flower factory in north canton when i was at moms along time ago. 19 layouts done and posted

well i finally got all the layouts posted. so enjoy looking. in 2 weeks this is the most I ever done before. Plus I had limited supplies for scrapbooking that took with me so scrapbooking all these took some thought for me. having limited supplies and scrapping was a great thing this trip as it took me out of my box and gave me something to think about.ever like to try something take a limited amount of suplies and scrap some layouts.

My younger brother

HERe is my younger brother jeff who you have never seen on before. this is the first time that i have scrapped him and shown him here. so i have collaged him. wasn't he the cutest thing when he was little. he has 2 sons that look just like him also. I wanted the glitter letter to be all the same but since they wasn't oh well i said. i wasn't going to be picky here. I cut strips of the polka dot paper into thirds and taped onto here. that is my very simple layout for this.

Billy again

Here I cut around the paper so i could add it to both sides of the cardstock plus on 2 of the pics the background for the pics are not all the way to the end of the pics either. i wanted it that way. I used foam tape to lift the letters of his name.to me it is just done with the paper.

Another Rare Pic

Here is another picture of my brother Billy. it gets harder to pictures of him, unless it is just pics of him from the past which these are. His name are done on wood pieces and the edges are sanded down. i used scrapbooking paper over the wood. the wood is then put on with the red-liner tape from stampin up that i love so very much. The circle pic is cut out from the stampin up punch.

Devil or Angel ??

I used stampin up paper and an unknown paper i forget which kind. I also used stampin ups scallop edge punch and then took a 1/8th hole punch to the scallops and made a hole in each scallop.on the number 2 i made 2 little horns and on angels a halo. The little boy is in second grade now and the little girl will be going to pre-school this year. How big they get don't they.

Graduation

Ok, Here is the graduation pics i promised you of my twin and me. oh yeah aren't they a hoot?? we are just being silly. we was the only grandchildren to graduate and our granparents to see it before they both died. Both sets i might add.Stampin up ribbon I used on here to connect to the pictures is retired. the corner punch is from fiskars.

Hand and Foot

Here is where I did alot of work to the page. stamping the background first and then cutting it to different widths. On different cardstock I might add. alot work but worth it when you look at it as you sure do not need embellishments to this page i think as the stamp i used makes it i believe. The stamp is stampin up. all cardstock is from Hollo's in brunswick. I wanted this page nice and bright. i know how to play this game but refuse to play it. i am slow at playing it also.

Fall Fun

Here I cut out the leaves using a template and then i used chalk.I used a template for the title and then i used a marker to go around the title also. this is just a simple and quick layout i think. Using my new scissors from stampin up makes is so easy to small things out.

My Twin Sister

Here is my twin sister and the pictures of her over the past few years.most recent one is with mom in the bottom left corner and that is when dad died 4 years ago. The paper i used is from stampin up and i cut around it so i could use it for both corners.I also used mu wizard and the sizzix to make the tag on here also. I used flower rhinestones, a template and traced her name in 2 different shades of markers.I also used stampin up circle and oval punches to punch out 2 of her pictures.

The Scrappers-A baseball team

here we are with scrappy the mascot of the scrappers. a minors league team of the cleveland indians. I saved the baseball paper just for this. I tore 2 different cardstock and layered them. then i used the same shades for the letters to spell the scrappers but put the darker shade under the red just so the darker was alittle visable. it still did not look right to me so i used a silver gel pen that my sister had and went around the red letters. which made them stand out much much better. the 2 baseballs in the 2 opposite corners I made and are stuck on with foam to give lift.I added 3 brads each to each photo and tore the bottom of the journaling to give some texture.

Cohen

this is my new nephew when he was first born. My sister kymm gave me this picture to scrap so i could show you all my new nephew. you should see how big he is now. One day i will try and get another picture to scrap and show you all how big he is. I did this layout a one of those sketches i printed out. I had trouble while at my sisters so Used sketch and this is what came out of it. My sister gave me the boy stickers since i did not have any baby stickers at all. I do not keep any baby stickers here. The corner punch i used on the picture is from stampin up and is there ticket punch. I also cut cardstock to different sizes for this layout. as you can tell.

Enjoying the Snow

here is my niece and nephew in the snow. I used stickers from Ms.Elizabeths that i bought along time ago and this was a great page to use them on. The corner punch is from fiskars. I only punched 2 of the corners on each picture. This was a quick and easy layout to do for me.

Dad

Here is my dad during the years who died 4 years ago. from when he was little to a teenager, 30's,and before he died. he was working then. i cut the cardstock in 2 different sizes of squares and glued the smallest one on the biggest one. then i put a brad in the middle of each one and put some foam tape to lift it. I then collage the pictures which is and the first time I ever did this. Thought I would try this and see how it would look and it didn't turn out to bad. I used templates to male the titles and Bic markers which are acid free I also uised stampin up paper again which is 2 sided and some textured paper which I bought in 8x8 pad while at my moms.

Relaxing

her I used stampin up ribbpn which is retired and i also used brads o0n the title and the journling. Paper(dotted) is from diecutswithaview. Other paper i forget who it is from so i could give gredit too.But this is allen, daedae, yaeger all relaxing in the recliner.

Me

Ok, I did a layout of me over the years as you can tell. in the blue hat I am in work clothes getting ready to go to work and work the grill at a restaurant i once use to work at. that was uniform. as you tell I use leather paper and polka dot paper together but tore at the corners, and i used dew drops on the leathers paper to imatiate the dots on the other paper. for my name I used chipboard letters and used inks to color them in 2 different inks. i also used those tiles from the home depots or lowes or one of those places as my mother in law gave me them when she went there. Now here is my favorite thing to come, I used the red-liner tape from stampin up to stick the letter on the tiles as that is the only thing that will hold this to it. Yep, Celia, your fav!! LOL. Plus, red-liner tape on the back of the tiles also.takes extra time but worth to make them stick in the long run.

Grandpa Luther

Here we are back in west virginia on middle mountain. yep, that is me in the bottom pic when i was skinny and I only wore a 9-10 back then. before i got sick and on these medications. lol. When we was back here this time visiting my sister kymm had never tasted cows milk ever in her life and moms relatives had given her the what for, for not raising her right so to speak. LOL. I was raised on cows milk since i was so sick all my life and grandpa lambert and always stopped by to give us twins cows on his way to work. Us twins was sick so much and drank cows milk so we was used to it but kymm wasn't and this was her first time in this picture drinking it. On this layout, i used stampin up paper which is 2 sided and the ribbon is from stampin up and retired by the way. I made this to look like wallpaper and old-fahsion.which it does to me.

Mom

here is my mom as a teenager and before she was married. my dad asked her to marry her in this pic on the left and her wedding shower on the right, and her wedding pic on the bottom with both sets of parents. My mom age age is even on the layout so everyone can tell she was just 18 when she got married. i used stampin up real red paper, and dew drops. love the papaer since it has a pattern on both sides and i can use either patter for this.i also used stampin ups scallop edge punch.

Brothers and Sisters

this layouts is my grandpa and my aunts. I used stampin up papers again and ribbon but the ribbon is retired here. the paper you can buy in the catalog. I also cut by hand the title and attached it by brads. on the cardstock where the photo is i had used 2 different kinds of punches in the corners so i can just put my photo in without using tape or glue. it is just in the by the punches holding it in. the punch at the top gives it an old feel i think also. i used the zots continous glue lines to hold the ribbon in place. I am hoping to show you some more photos here as I scan them over the weekend but these are just 2 of what i did at my sisters and moms. I have more to show you of old picutres that i scrapped of my brothers also. when they was young and of my graduation of high school as promised.

Mom and Kyle

here i scrapped mom and kyle with stampin up bella blue. the ribbon is from stampin up also but is retired and i put rhinestones that is multicolored on there and a tag for jourlaing in a pocket.I used the zots continous running glue lines to hold the ribbon and zots medium glue dots for the rhinestones. double stick tape from scotch for the paper and purple glue stick for the corners.

I am Back
