I was good also since i am a diabetic and I 1 small piece of cake and 1 cookie. I could have ate more of the cake since it was moist and wonderful. but my sugar I always think about so it doesn't go high and I won't be put on insulin then. nopw to rest and prop my feet up and read a book so i will be back tomoorow with something to show you, a card maybe. :)

Santa

this is my younger brother when he was little talking to santa at speed-d-foods. they had santa come every year and now the store is no longer there. the colors I ised is not tradional but one doesn't always have to use christams colors. the letters I traced and cut out, I also used ribbon, buttons. the journaling is from the computer from word-art. thats how I got it light and dark on it.

Snowman

here is a snowman I have seen on many blogs and finally I just had to try this out. for me I can make this as big or small i want and write on the back. the eyes, mouth and nose are stampin up punches. I also used white gel pen from stampin up also. the flowers on his hat are from stampin up punch that has 3 flowers on it. just punch out what flower you want to use. I made 2 of these for nigel and jadynn, my niece and nephew. enjoy!!

Punch Art- Tweety Bird

here is my version of the bird. for me it looks like the runt of the litter. but you know what they say, he grows. I also found this online and just had to try my hand at it. everything here is made from stampin up punches, but you can make it with what you have. templates or other punches you have. just as long as you come near it its yours. I have punches and templates in case I don't have a punch. I trace and cut then. enjoy!!

Homemade glimmer mist with pearl-ex

have you ever decided to try one of the homemade methods they are always talking about for stamping/scrapping?? I decided to try my hand at the glimmer mists you can make yourself. all I can say about it the recipe I tried really works. there was a shimmer to the envy I sprayed it on. I could not believe it,But until it dries then you can see it really good. I decided to go surfing on youtube for this and they have several over for recipes on how to make it yourself. the recipe I tried from there is as follows:

Homemade Glimmer Mist with Pearl-Ex
water(lukewarm)
glue
reinker
pearl-ex of your choice

I didn't measure anything but you get to know how much. But if you want to try this out then you need to watch on youtube. just go on over and in the search type in Homemade glimmer mist. it will bring up many for you to choose from. this recipe I gave you came from there and it works great. just for that touch of shimmer. I love it.

wags and whispers are having a 1st birthday blog candy. love to enter and win?? then click on over to http://bunny-zoes.blogspot.com

Chatty Chatty

this card has a fold on both sides. so when you put your stamped image on the card you just put the foam tape on the 1 side of the image. this way you can still open the card 3times. the pattern paper is a scrap, stamps are by stampin up. so is the verse. I inked areound the image with choc. chip ink also from stampin up. now this is the first time I used markers to color this in but I figured with the image the way it was markers was best. so the markers I used was Bic Mark-It. took my time to do this.

Spooky Tree

this card is made from stampin up stamps, house of haunts. the 2 pumpkins are punched art from the small oval punch. the background paper is a scrap I had in my drawer. I tore the edges of the paper to give it for me an old feeling.I also embossed the image using black detail embossing powder.

Scallop Tree

here is a tree for christmas that is made from scallop punch. in placew of the star I used a flower because this one looks like a star to me. the scallops are cut 2,3,4,5, and 6. you can leave off the 2 if you like but for me it looks like a tall tree ready to decorate. i used pattern paper to make this with but you can use cardstock.it up to you what paper you use for the effect you want.

Lil Chickies

these lil chickies are made from stampin up punches which I seen this on another blog but I cannot remember who blog it was. I loved them so much I just had to make them. I did do some changes since i didn't have the punches used so the feet, wings and beak are made from the punches you see on here. its my way to coming close to them. hope you enjoy them.

Scallop Christams Tree

this tree is made from the scallop punch and cut. this tree you just count 2,3,4, and so on until you got a tree you like. I went as high as by counting the scallops. then I used a star or you can use a flower punch for the top. make sure the flower looks like a star though. no one will ever know it is a flower. cut a piece for the trunk and glue. you can use pattern or plain cardstock as it can be your choice. like i made mine here using pattern paper. the background stamp is from stampin up. the verse was given to me so i do not know who it is by.

YEP!!! I do. :)

Christmas trees

here i used a stamp set by stampin up. I used markers to do this with and then I huffed on the stamp. this way you can make the trees any color you wish. I also used square brads at the bottom along with strip of green. all paper is from hollo's that is in brunswick.

Cat in the Moon

this card i made by using a kiddies ring and cutting off where you put your finger thru it. the witch stamp is unknown. stamped in ancient page coal. the verse is unknown also. I lifted up the cat ring by using foam tape.

witchy pumpkin

this card was made with scraps except for the witchy pumpkin. the pumpkin was made from the small oval punch from stampin up. the hat I cut free hand and the brim of the hat was also cut with the small oval. I also used a white gel pen around the hat. the witchy pumpkin is put up with foam tape to give it a little lift. the letter stamps I used are from hero arts.
